Grey House Terriers - Our Scotties
Because we are a small, family operated breeder of AKC Scottish Terriers, we only have four breeding adult Scottie females and two males. These great little dogs receive tons of attention from us! They are all wonderful dogs and really great pets!
Maggie
Maggie is a completely white Scottish Terrier(Wheaton). Although she is unique in this respect, she is 100% Scottie! She is extremely loyal and loveable. When Maggie wants attention from us, she demands it! She loves the cows that lives across the street, and she looks for them every time she goes outside. When she is happy, her tail wags in a circle, and all her puppies tails seem to do exactly the same thing!
Cloe
Cloe is a very sweet natured Scottie. She watches what all the other Scotties do, but prefers to sit on the sidelines, as opposed to following the crowd. She is Black, with a sprinkling of white hairs in her beard. She has a very striking look. She loves to be petted and pampered. She loves to sleep in her basket or by our feet, wherever her people are, she wants to be right there !!
Lacey
Lacey is our youngest Scottie. She wants to do whatever the others are doing. She is a Black Brindle and has lovely brindling all over her body and head. She looks like a black dog that had lace laid over her to make her patterns, thus her name. We have not bred her yet due to her age, but we expect lovely puppies from her when we do. She is happy and playful all the time.
Abby
Abby is a very playful Scottish Terrier. She is a black brindle, with most of the brindling on her back. She thinks every toy is made for her! She even needs to take a toy with her to bed every night. No toy, no sleep!! Abby loves to be held and brushed. We think she just loves all the attention she can get from us. She may be small, but inside she is larger than a Great Dane!
Bogie
Bogie is our newest Scottie Stud, and we are expecting him to sire some beautiful Scotties in the future. He is a true Black with a small white spot on his chest. He loves attention and is always on the alert to see what is happening. He doesn't miss any of the happenings in our yard. He loves to be the center of attention. He has the beautiful "Scottie Look", and he knows it!!
Brodie
Brodie is our oldest Stud and has sired many wonderful puppies. He is a lovely cream colored wheaten. He is extemely good natured and loves everyone the moment he meets them. He has never met anyone he did not like. He is extremely gentle with his pups and likes to play with them. He is happy all the time and loves to show it by doing his "Happy Dance", which he will do on command.
As always, if you have any questions about any of our great Scotties, we are always available to help you at greyhouseterriers@yahoo.com.

You know you are a dog person when:
- You have baby gates permanently installed at strategic places around the house, but no babies.
- Poop has become a source of conversation for you and your significant other.
- You refer to yourselves as Mommy and Daddy.
- You have 32 different names for your dog. Most make no sense, but she understands.
- You talk about your dog the way other people talk about their kid.
- You make popcorn just to play catch with your dog.
- You cringe at the price of food in the grocery store but think nothing of the cost of dog food or treats.
- Your dog sleeps with you.
A Good Dog Joke..
A man went to visit his 90 year old grandfather and while eating the breakfast of eggs and bacon prepared for him, he noticed a film-like substance on his plate. So he says, "Grandfather, are these plates clean?"
His grandfather replies, "Those plates are as clean as Coldwater can get them, so go on and finish your meal".
That afternoon, while eating the hamburgers his grandfather made for lunch, he noticed many little black specks around the edge of his plate, so again he asked, "Grandfather are you sure these plates are clean?"
Without looking up from his burger, the grandfather says, "I told you those dishes are as clean as Coldwater can get them, now don't ask me about it anymore".
Well, later that day, they were on their way out to get dinner. As he was leaving the house, grandfather's dog who was lying on the floor started to growl and would not let him pass. "Grandfather, your dog won't let me out".
Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching, his grandfather shouted, "Coldwater, get your butt out of the way!"
